WAYS OF GIVING

Gifts of any size are welcomed by those who wish to help us.

We are immensely grateful to all those who choose to do so. Your gift can be allocated to a fund of your choice. If you have no particular preference for any of the targets, but would nevertheless like to support our School, giving ‘General Support’ means we can top up areas where there may be a shortfall or other pressing needs.

There are many ways of supporting us, with a range of tax benefits for the donor. Please contact us to find out more. Please read below for more details.

TAX EFFICIENT GIVING

Giving from the UK

CCCS is part of the Foundation of Christ Church, Oxford, a registered charity (number: 1143423) and is thus able to reclaim 25p for every £1 given by a UK taxpayer at no extra cost to the donor, provided that he/she has paid an amount of UK Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax equal to the tax reclaim. Therefore, a gift of £100 is worth £125 to the School.

Furthermore, higher rate taxpayers can also benefit from tax relief by claiming back the difference between the higher rates of tax at 40 or 45 per cent and the basic rate of tax at 20 per cent on the total value of their gross donation.

GIVING FROM THE USA

Donors who are taxpayers in the United States can also make tax-efficient gifts to the School. Please contact the Development Director for further details.
