Beyond the classroom, CCCS children can be found making pizza, using onions grown in their class vegetable patch.

The Woodland School over on Christ Church Meadow provides ample opportunity for pupils to come to understand the natural world. We go on regular class outings to support current learning: to the Ashmolean Museum, the History of Science Museum and the Story Museum, as well as the buildings of Christ Church, Oxford Botanic Garden, and further afield, such as Warwick Castle or Cotswold Wildlife Park.

From Reception, specialist music class is standard and occurs twice a week. Instrumental tuition is available for those who show early promise.
