What a remarkable week it has been....
I mentioned to all those who were in the Cathedral this morning for the Christingle Service...
As ever the Forms 3 and 4 play was a delightful spectacle.
I had the great pleasure to be invited to Harrow yesterday to attend the Churchill songs.
Many of the conversations I have been having with pupils this week have been about the American elections.
I spoke last week of the fact that the Worcester and Pembroke choirs were about to sing again.
This week, we played some matches against Ashfold School.
Yesterday we took part in an attempt to break a world record – we are hoping that it will be in next year’s Guinness Book of Records.
On Wednesday, I found myself sitting in the upper gallery of one of my favourite theatres, The Royal Shakespeare Theatre at Stratford-upon-Avon.
We are always reviewing our practices here at the School and during the course of the in-service training days prior to the beginning of term we talked, as a staff, about ways of ensuring that we get the best from our pupils.
Last night I attended evensong at Christ Church Cathedral, the first time I had done so since mid June.
I have always loved Christ Church Meadow, but I am taking particular pleasure in my recent visits to it.
